April Showers Bring A-lotta Shooters!

Actually, the weather was really beautiful.

We had a helluva posse come out to the range.38 shooters in all! We also welcome new members to SASH - Wesley "Wildwes" Grant and his wife, Charlotte, and Ellery Galanto made it official after having so much fun at the March shoot! Welcome to the posse! We also had a few guests come to see what the ruckus is about - the Cates family: Clifton , Kimberly and K'Lynn - hope y'all had a good time!

Our April stages were created by John "Blackjack Derringer" Brassell - I think he may have used most of our props for this match!

Stage 1 was the "Shoot n' Scoot" - shootin from behind huge "boulders" or out in the open, and we even got a chance to shoot the shotgun from the hip at a couple of rough riders.

Stage 2 "Tough Trough" - kneeling behind the water trough, you need to concentrate to be sure to shoot the suit of cards in the correct order, and take down some poppers to boot!

Stage 3 "Mystery Shot" - we started with our back turned to the bad guys, at the buzzer, you had to spin around, grab your trusty shotgun and take down 4 of 'em.then run to take cover behind the horse and shoot up a few critters - and the bonus mystery shot - knock down the popper hiding behind a door!

CLEANUP CREW

We had a last minute change on the date of the clean-up for our storage area.so if ya missed it - thank yer lucky stars, as it was a mighty hot day on Saturday, May 8 th !

Buster" Hahn, Jeff "El Muerte de Dolor" Wang, Mike "Wyatt" Wee, Phil "Branded Buck" Rapoza, John "Blackjack Derringer" Brassell, Stuart "Pairadice" and Lydia "Fast Addie" Belshe, Kevin "Half Kocked" Andreshak for doing an amazing job on clearing the grass and fixin' up the shed and props.

UPCOMING SASH EVENTS

SHOOTING SPORTS FAIR:
It's coming up in a few short months (June 26 & 27). We are asking for ammo donations of rifle/revolver rounds only. PLEASE DO NOT DONATE SHOTGUN SHELLS. The annual event is one of the biggest draws for SASH to pick up new members, and just get a few folks interested in single-action shooting. Members are asked to help man the booths during the weekend - times are: Saturday, June 26 - set-up @ 8:00 am , show is open 10:00 am - 4:00 pm . Sunday, June 27 - show is open from 10:00 am - 4:00pm , break-down thereafter.

OLD OAK LEATHER GOODS:
