2004 Starts with a BANG!
Sunny Skies Prevailed
Our January weather forcast wasn't looking so hot...we had a large storm coming in, threatening thunderstorms on the day of our match. However, new of the bad weather didn't stop over 30 people from coming down to the range to participate in our first shoot of 2004!
While I was lying in bed with the flu and strep throat (and kicking myself for missing the match), clear skies and a cool breezes made for a nice day at Koko Head Range . We had a few out of town guests come in to see what all the ruckus was about - Poke Along and Missy from Vancouver, WA and Sourdough Jim a SASH member from Illinois joined us for a fun-filled shoot. Also, our old friend, Saloon Sal joined the SASH ranks once again. Glad to have you back in the posse!
January's stages were designed by our very own Black Jack Derringer. We broke out a lot of the props, and had some interesting final scores. Bronco Six has started off the year at the top, followed by our guest, Poke Along, and rounding out the top 3 is Wyatt Wee. Great shooting guys! And for the third January match in a row, el Presidente, Branded Buck was beat by a woman - Kamuela Kowgirl (his wife, none the less)! What happened to El Muerte (our top shooter last year) you ask? He finished in the top spot last year, and got some new toys...but those new 32's aren't doing him any good... he placed 7th... hee hee hee!
GUN SHOW March 6-7, 2004
