SASH Shows Sizzle at the September Gun Show

The S.A.S.H. club took home 5th place for Best Display Table at the Semi-Annual Hawaii Historic Arms Society Gun Show earlier this month...and that's now all we managed to corral...we got us a few new members too!

A big bucket o' thanks goes out to the following members who helped out at the SASH display tables at the Blaisdell Center: Clell Miller, Tumbleweed, Bronco Six, Blackjack Derringer, Mountain Black, Fast Addie, Pair a Dice Kid, Branded Buck, Kid Limerick, Half Kocked, and Ms. Fyre. A couple o' wranglers laid down their single-action irons to put on some funny lookin' duds...Wyatt Wee & Cathouse Carlson turned in their dusty boots and rigs for military duty with the Hawaii Historic Arms Society. Small Paw and Rowdy Rick also took off their ten-gallons and reported to the show in their HPD uniforms, to assist with the show's security. Thank y'all for all of your help!

Hunting & Fishing Weekend at Koko Head Shooting Complex

Remember to come down to the range and help out at the SASH tent during the Hunting & Fishing Expo (Sept. 27-28). Set-up on Saturday starts at 8:00 a.m. and the show is open from 10am-4pm on Saturday & Sunday. Breakdown usually runs til 5:00p.m. on Sunday.

We're breakin' out the good stuff and puttin' up a helluva display! We've got our annual STAKE SHOOT challenge to take place on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. We need to show those modern gun folks that cowboy ammo can still pack a helluva punch, and can saw a 4x4 in half faster than they can!

We're also doing another "Mini Match" for the non-member shooters again... Prizes being awarded to the top Men's & Women's ($25 gift certificates to Out of the West) and top Junior shooter ($20 gift card from Dave & Busters).

Remember - this is one of the 2 greatest events to show the public how much hootin' and hollerin' we do when we get all gussied up! Wear your Sunday best and help get some new shooters excited about Cowboy Action Shootin'!
